Concept Car - McLaren MP4-12C V8 Twin Turbo

The McLaren MP4-12C is revealed as the first in a range of high-performance sports cars from McLaren Automotive, the independent car division based at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, England.
Twenty years of sports car design, engineering and production combined with inspirational success in Formula 1 have driven Ron Dennis, McLaren Automotive Chairman, to announce his plans for the ultimate line-up of technology-led and customer-focused performance cars for the 21st century. The rules in the sports car world are about to be re-written.
The supercar is powered by a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine producing around 600 horsepower and 433 lb-ft of torque. The engine is coupled to a McLaren seven speed Seamless Shift dual clutch gearbox (SSG). It sprints from 0 to 60 mph in less than 3,5 seconds and can hit a top speed of more than 200mph.
When developing the McLaren MP4-12C, the engineers were focused on reducing weight, so the car features a Carbon MonoCell, light brakes, lightweight exhaust pipes, an airflow-assisted airbrake and a small and compact engine.
Through a rich modern history, McLaren's automotive division has already built the world's most critically acclaimed supercar, the McLaren F1 (1993-1998) and the world's best-selling luxury supercar, the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren (2003-2009). McLaren Automotive now looks to the future with a new range of revolutionary sports cars.

Concept Car - Acura 2+1

The project was done during Paz’s internship at Honda R&D Americas, where it was professionally modeled with assistance from Honda employees.Acura 2+1 concept car was inspired by the multifaceted trend of “modern baroque-fashion” very elaborate, yet forming an aesthetic whole. The idea was to show very aggressive styling on the body, but keep it very simple on the top section with a flowing, uninterrupted roof line. The Acura 2+1 concept car’s body is formed from a new family of plastics that are extremely light and even harder than fiberglass. The concept is a creation of designer Leon Paz, and designed to slot in under the replacement NSX in the company’s lineup. It is intended as a “gateway” car for buyers that are interested in the NSX but can’t afford the steep price.
